'Meet the new Banksy'

Stealing title from the very article I'm featuring this post on. STIK has made a splash this month on social media sites among art enthusiasts I know I allowed myself to get sucked into the hunt, He collaborated with 'The Big Issue' for one week of free art inside every issue to encourage people to buy the magazine, with 4 colours to collect everyone was racing to find them all.

This collaboration got me talking to other artists, it also got me thinking about what great work they do in helping the homeless to find their own path away from homelessness and also to give them the chance to be art dealers for the week. This collaboration was a way of STIK fulfilling a long held wish to support the organisation which helped many of the friends he met while homeless on Londons streets. I myself took the time to stop and chat to the vendors when possible and gave them a little extra money for their helping me find all four colours! Many other people on the search for them like myself that I spoke with spoke about doing the same.
